Employment for People with disAbilities

Having meaningful work and being able to make a contribution to society is vitally important to most people. Blue Star Recycler's mission is to create local jobs for people with disAbilities. In 2008, we discovered developmentally disabled people, especially those with autism spectrum disorder, possess a strong aptitude for the disassembly of computers and other electronic components into base materials, which can then be fully and ethically recycled. We realized there is great opportunity to provide rewarding and paid employment for talented people who face over 80% unemployment in Southern Colorado.
