Bill Morris speaking at the Greater Good Academy

Bill Morris, President of Blue Star Recyclers, was a featured speaker at a November 16 celebration honoring Greater Good Academy’s second graduating class of entrepreneurs. The Greater Good Academy (GGA) is an 8-week business development program for Denver area entrepreneurs from underserved communities in how to use sustainable and triple bottom line business thinking and practices to become more profitable.

Bill shared the Blue Star story of sustainability with the crowd by describing how the company aims to collect and recycle electronics responsibly in order to employ people with disabilities, a population that has one of the highest rates of unemployment. Recycling electronic computers, televisions, and other gadgets is very important to keep toxic components out of landfills.
